Imprese per Bene (Companies for the Good) Award

It is the name of the recognition that the Renato Piatti Onlus Foundation, a non-profit organization that manages services for people with intellectual and / or relational disabilities and their families, in the Varese area, allowed to companies that had given, in 2021, their support.

The Foundation is helping over 550 children, teens and adults with different forms of weakness and there are many companies that, for a long time now, have chosen to be alongside operators by supporting specific projects or taking part in different initiatives.

The appellation of "business for good" is a novelty of 2022 and rewards the concrete commitment of companies, related to the previous year. LasiGroup has been alongside the non-profit organization for several years and proudly receives the title.

What does it mean to be "Impresa per Bene" (Company for the good)?

"Being a good (positive) company means believing that disability, discomfort and, more generally, fragility are not a private problem but rather an issue that concerns the whole community and all the social actors involved”, explains Cesarina del Vecchio, President of the Renato Piatti Onlus Foundation.

"The whole organization structure has to feel the need to do the best for not leaving anyone behind.

In short, it means sharing the results of own actions in the economic and social world, with the more fragile people”.

Not just marketing

At Lasi we think that choosing to support a cause is not just a matter of marketing, but it concerns corporate social responsibility: an awareness that grows over time and leads us to reflect on our role, as a company, in the society.
